Director, Claims Operations
Carol Upton has decades of experience in claims management, financial services and revenue cycle leadership. Carol oversees all of Claims Operations and is responsible for the development of procedures and policies to enhance and improve the processing of claims. She also oversees the management of customer service, reinsurance and provider operations. Since joining the company in 2017, Carol has been a contributing factor to the improvement and growth in the claims department. Previously, Carol was the Director of Revenue Cycle Charge Capture Integration/Regional Operations/Financial Performance at Kaiser Permanente, and also held managerial and supervisorial positions at Citrus Valley Health Partners, Gallatin Medical Foundation, and Long Beach Community Hospital, among others. Carol is a Certified Revenue Cycle Executive from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM).
